Capturing the urban tapestry of Wellswood, I’ve taken inspiration from Ed Ruscha’s seminal works.

The project is a comprehensive visual record of Ilsham Road. Using joiners to assemble a composite image that is a unified depiction of each shop and a school—it represents the essence of a bustling street at the heart of Wellswood, a suburb of Torquay in South Devon—albeit at 5 a.m. to avoid as many parked cars as possible.
